Performed using Installation vessel’s WROV (tether length permitting) or from assistance vessel
❑ Confirm laying within design corridor, monitor heading and cross-track distance
❑ Monitor product positioning at critical areas (initiation, laydown/CTL measurements, curves, crossings)
❑ Provide layback distance from vessel to the point of contact product-seabed to ensure correct lay tension during installation
Equipment: OAS, Video, Dual Heads Profiler, INS/DVL aided USBL positioning and / or LBL
